GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Despite a double-double by Mercedes Russell, Tennessee was never able to get in a consistent groove against Alabama in the second round of the SEC Tournament at Bon Secours Wellness Arena, falling 72-64.
Russell finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds in the contest, both of which were game-highs. Diamond DeShields posted another all-around performance, totaling 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Jordan Reynolds and Jaime Nared also crack double-digit scoring, with 14 and 11, respectively. Nared also added seven rebounds and three assists.
