The SEC announced their end of the year superlatives this morning, and the Tennessee Volunteers were shut out of the first two All-SEC teams. They did make appearances on the All-Freshman and All-Defensive squads, however.
Keon Johnson and Jaden Springer, two five-star prospects from last year’s class, each made the All-Freshman team. The talented duo got off to a slow start after COVID took much of their preseason activities from them, but eventually found their groove in SEC play. Springer led the team, averaging 12 points per game for the year. Johnson ended third on the team in scoring, putting up just over ten points per contest.
