It was a tough day for a few Tennessee Volunteers across the NFL landscape, but the hardest news came from out west. The San Francisco 49ers waived former Tennessee receiver Jauan Jennings just before the deadline to have to have 53-man rosters set.
Jennings was a seventh-round pick of the team earlier in this year’s draft.
