Marietta High School, better known as Knoxville South these days, got off on the right foot to start their 2019 campaign on Thursday night. Tennessee quarterback commit Harrison Bailey led Marietta to a 48-14 win over Rome High School, putting up some big numbers in the process.
Bailey found five-star athlete and Tennessee target Arik Gilbert time and time again on Thursday night. Gilbert caught nine passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns while playing receiver for the Blue Devils. The 6-5, 250 pound prospect is being recruited as a receiver by Tennessee, while others are pitching him on the idea of playing tight end.
