Georgia Tech-Tennessee is one of the more intriguing Week 1 matchups of the season, but it is getting basically no attention outside the two fan bases.
Because of its triple-option offense, Georgia Tech is all about the run; given UT’s horrible run defense last season, that likely has added to the intensity of the Vols’ preseason camp.
Each team would seem to have an advantage at a key position: Georgia Tech has a talented and experienced rushing attack, while Tennessee features an experienced offensive line that should be able to carve out some running room.
