In order for Tennessee to be successful, they better be locking down the borders of their own state. It’s something that previous staffs failed to do over the last decade and you see where that’s gotten this program.
Today, Jeremy Pruitt took a big step towards re-securing those borders. Tennessee has landed a commitment from Nashville native Keshawn Lawrence, a four-star safety and a top 100 player in the 2020 class. Lawrence is the 2nd ranked player in the state, checking in only behind five-star linebacker Reggie Grimes.
The 6-1, 195 pound safety saw Tennessee at least three times this spring on unofficial visits.
