Tennessee picked up another defensive back on Friday morning, securing a commitment from four-star safety Jaylen McCollough. The Powder Springs, Georgia native committed at the 50 yard line of Hillgrove High School.
McCollough selected the Vols over Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina. He joins safety Anthony Harris in Tennessee’s 2019 class, giving the Vols two top 200 safety prospects.
According to 247 Sports, McCollough is the 131st ranked player in the 2019 class and the 10th ranked safety in the country. He is the 15th rated player out of the state of Georgia — a place that Jeremy Pruitt and his staff continue to hit hard on the trail.
