Four named to 2017 CFB Hall of Fame class

Tampa, Fla. - Four former players and coaches with ties to Southeastern Conference schools will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017, it was announced Monday by the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame.

The inductees were selected from the national ballot of 75 All-America players and six elite coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and the 95 players and 29 coaches from the divisional ranks.

Danny Ford, the Razorbacks head coach from 1993-97, led Arkansas to a 1995 SEC Western Division title.

Dat Nguyen, the only player in Texas A&M history to lead the team in tackles four consecutive seasons, will be the 10th Aggie to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
