Despite the loser Butch Jones was as the head coach of the Tennessee football program; he did coach a couple of players shining in the NFL. Of course, that makes sense because Jones had no clue how to get the football to real talent.
Last season’s NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Alvin Kamara was the highlight of week one for all former Vols. With fellow running back Mark Ingram sidelined for the Saints, Kamara was the go-to back and put up some impressive numbers.
He only had 29 rushing yards on eight carries, but two of those carries were for touchdowns.
