Former Louisiana Tech guard Amaree Abram set to visit Tennessee

Another shooting guard currently in the transfer portal is set to visit Tennessee. The Volunteers have had a successful offseason to this point, but they can’t quite seem to solve the riddle at the 2-spot in the starting lineup.

Tennessee, of course, is tasked with replacing guys like Chaz Lanier, Jahmai Mashack and Jordan Gainey at the position. Rick Barnes has evaluated and visited with several options to this point, but hasn’t found an answer yet.

The latest candidate, according to Mike Wilson, is former Louisiana Tech guard Amaree Abram. Per Wilson, Abram will be on campus for a visit today (Monday).
