Former Tennessee running back Treyvon Paulk has signed with FCS member Samford. It’s been a journey, to say the least, for Paulk.

Paulk, who is from Alpharetta, Ga., an Atlanta suburb, spent the past two seasons at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. He ended up at Hutchinson after being dismissed from Tennessee in 2014 because of a domestic violence incident in which Paulk punched his ex-girlfriend in the mouth.
Samford coach Chris Hatcher has no qualms about signing Paulk.
