He was charged with sending harmful material to a minor and violating the state’s Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act. Crowder was arrested as part of a child sex sting and was released on bond Tuesday night.
Crowder, who is from Bristol, Tenn., started 15 games in his Tennessee career, including three in 2015. He was a member of the Tennessee contingent at SEC Media Days in 2014 and started 11 games that season.
The Tennesseean is reporting that Crowder told police he sent photos to and had an online conversation with a girl he thought was 14.
