The Tennessee Volunteers are back on the practice field, officially opening the spring practice period this morning in Knoxville. 27 newcomers hit the practice field for the first time, including five-star freshman tackle David Sanders. Freshman quarterback George MacIntyre got his feet wet, while a handful of additions out of the portal got their first taste.
Following practice, Heupel touched on a number of different things — replacing Cooper Mays, newcomers, Mike Matthews, Nico Iamaleava and several other topics.
Spring practice is set to run through April 12th, where Tennessee will host their annual Orange and White game.
