KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The 20th season of the WNBA tips off on Saturday, and as the 2016 campaign dawns there will be eight former Tennessee players represented on the rosters of seven different teams.
UT's most recent draft pick, Bashaara Graves, was taken in the second round (22nd overall pick) by the defending league champion Minnesota Lynx in April. She made her way through training camp and earned a roster spot with the three-time WNBA champs (2011, 2013, 2015).
Graves, a 6-foot-2 power forward, became the 37th Lady Vol drafted by the WNBA, with Tennessee leading all other programs in producing professional players.
