Smith was charged with domestic assault after he was arrested in the early-morning hours of May 6 following a fight with roommate Kennedy Foster at their off-campus residence.
Foster, who was hospitalized at UT Medical Center following the incident, suffered a broken nose, broken teeth and damage to his eyes and right ear, said his attorney, George Underwood Jr.
