ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Tennessee's Diamond DeShields is among 28 28 women's basketball standouts named to the 2017 Ann Meyers Drysdale Midseason Watch List, the USBWA announced on Tuesday.
DeShields, a 6-foot-1 junior guard, leads the team in scoring (16.9 ppg.) while ranking second in assists (3.4 apg.), steals (1.3) and blocked shots (1.2 bpg.). She is also third on the team in rebounding (6.6). She is shooting .405 from the field thus far, including .320 from the three-point arc, and is hitting .
