Continuing a theme of the last two weeks, defensive back Jay Jones has decommitted from Tennessee’s 2021 class. Jones made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
Jones had been committed to Tennessee since July of 2019. He’s a three-star prospect, coming out of the state of Alabama. According to 247Sports, Jones is the 892nd ranked player in the class.
He joins five-star linebacker Terrence Lewis, four-star cornerback Damarius McGhee, four-star tight end Hudson Wolfe and three-star defensive end Darrell Jackson as prospects who have decommitted from Tennessee over the last two weeks.
