Deandre Johnson transferring to Miami

Former Tennessee pass rusher Deandre Johnson has found a new home. Just days after entering the NCAA transfer portal, Johnson has committed to the Miami Hurricanes as a grad-transfer.

The 6-3, 255 pound defensive end/outside linebacker signed with Tennessee as a three-star prospect out of Miami back in 2017. Now as a second-year senior, thanks to a ruling from the NCAA in 2020, Johnson gets a chance to play at home in his final season of college football.

Johnson exploded onto the scene in week one against South Carolina, appearing set to fill the shoes of Darrell Taylor.
