Jeremy Pruitt and his staff have hit the ground running on the trail, making up for lost time. From the moment he and his staff arrived in Knoxville, one of their top targets has been linebacker JJ Peterson.
Today, that top target committed to Tennessee at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, despite never even visiting Knoxville.
Peterson checks in as the No. 2 overall outside linebacker prospect, landing inside 247 Sports’ top 50 players. The 6-1, 210 pound linebacker attends Colquitt County High School, which just so happens to be where Rush Propst coaches — who was Jeremy Pruitt’s old boss at Hoover High School.
