Chapel Hill Regional: Previewing the Vols Opponents

The first pitch in the Volunteer’s NCAA Tournament run is approaching. The Tennessee Baseball team will meet the Liberty Flames Friday at 7:00 ET, following the conclusion of Game 1, North Carolina vs UNC-Wilmington. The winner here will advance to play the winner of the Atlanta Regional, where Georgia Tech is a heavy favorite. As the clock ticks down before the Vols start dancing, here is my preview and prediction of the Chapel Hill Regional.

#1 North Carolina

UNC was inconsistent this season as they started off 12-1, similar to the Vols 17-1 start. UNC did not do as well in conference play, finishing with a 17-13 ACC record.
