Butch Jones explains why the Vols went for one, not two

The Tennessee Volunteers lost a heartbreaker to the Florida Gators Saturday night. It certainly was a tough pill for the Volunteers to swallow as they led by two touchdowns at one point in the game.

The Vols led 13-7 in the third quarter and a touchdown made the score 19-7. Head coach Butch Jones had a choice to make: go for two or kick the extra point. He went with the latter and made the score 20-7.

The Gators ended up making a comeback in the fourth quarter and winning the game on a last minute catch and run by Kelvin Taylor, making the final score 28-27, which means the two point conversion would have made a huge difference.
