Base Vols back on top in latest college baseball Coaches Poll

The Tennessee Volunteers are back on to of the hill - at least one of college baseball’s major polls.

Tennessee moved up from 2 to 1 in the Coaches Poll on Monday, leapfrogging the team they beat for the national title last June, Texas A&M. The Vols checked in at #2 in Baseball America’s poll and #3 in D1 Baseball.

Tennessee completed a sweep of Samford over the weekend in Knoxville, winning 5-1, 7-3, and 11-1.
