It became apparently obvious that the Vols weren’t prepared to make a championship run in 2016 despite several factors on their side. Talent and experience were in ready supply, so what was missing?
It’s easiest to point to Tennessee’s coaching staff. If the Vols weren’t struggling to score – as they did at times early in the season – then they were struggling to stop anyone from scoring, as was the case late in the season.
