The alleged victim in a fight that led to Josh Smith’s arrest is looking for a big settlement from the Tennessee wide receiver.
Gridiron Now’s Jimmy Hyams reported Sunday that the victim, Smith’s friend and roommate Kennedy Foster, has threatened a $3 million civil lawsuit if the player doesn’t pay $875,000 in compensatory and punitive damages by Tuesday.
If the $875,000 is not received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, along with a “letter of sincere apology,” then the offer will be withdrawn and Foster and his attorney will file a civil suit seeking $1.5 million in compensatory damages and $1.
