A top-10 player in the state of Tennessee is staying home and heading to Knoxville. 4-star tight end Hudson Wolfe committed to Tennessee Monday morning.
Tennessee spent much of this recruitment playing catch up. Savannah is Big Orange country through and through, but for whatever reason it seemed that schools like Ole Miss and Ohio State had pulled ahead for Wolfe. There was some discussion a few months ago about Wolfe leaning towards Tennessee but ultimately being persuaded to look around and weigh all his options. When Tennessee took commitments from tight ends Roc Taylor, Miles Campbell, and Trinity Bell, the conventional wisdom was that the staff had moved on.
