The Tennessee Volunteers added a speedy and versatile outside linebacker to their 2018 recruiting class Saturday when JJ Peterson announced his commitment during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, per 247 Sports.
Peterson, who is 6'1½" and 210 pounds, is a 4-star prospect, per 247Sports, and the No. 44 overall player, No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 8 player from the state of Georgia in his class.
He attracted plenty of attention from premier programs in the area of his hometown, Moultrie, Georgia. Teams such as Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State and Georgia all made offers, according to 247Sports.
