The SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament is set. The fun begins on Wednesday, and the Tennessee Lady Vols will tip things off in Greenville, South Carolina.
Tennessee stumbled down the stretch to fall all the way to the No. 9 seed in the loaded SEC. They’ll face No. 16 Texas A&M to open the tournament, with the winner earning the right to play No. 8 Vanderbilt.
The Lady Vols finished 8-8 in conference play after going unblemished in non-conference play. Things appeared to be on the way up after an upset of UConn in Knoxville, but Tennessee ended up dropping their final two games.
