To follow back to back commitments from in-state players over the last few days, Tennessee added an in-state player to their 2021 class this afternoon.
Athlete Elijah Howard chose to commit to the Tennessee Volunteers today, despite having two more seasons of high school football to play. Howard made the announcement with this video.
Howard continues Tennessee hot in-state run, following Cooper Mays and Keshawn Lawrence’s lead over the weekend.
The 2021 athlete is not yet ranked in 247 Sports’ database. The 5-11, 165 pound prospect is rated as a three-star by Rivals, however. Howard plays running back and defensive back at Webb School in Knoxville.
