Just when you thought it was over, Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols pull another card from their sleeves.
Tennessee received a commitment from three-star athlete Reggie James of Chestatee High School in Gainesville, Georgia on Saturday. James will report to the team this month as a preferred walk-on.
For the uninformed, a preferred walk-on is guaranteed a spot on the 105-man roster that the Vols will roll out at the end of August, compared to a regular walk-on who must try out for the team.
James was forced to delay his college decision due to a “strain of a nerve” in his deltoid muscle, but was finally able to announce his decision via Twitter.
