NEW ORLEANS -- After Tennessee's successful showing at the 2016 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, 12 Vols were announced as First Team All-Americans by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
The Tennessee men finished third and the UT women finished seventh, marking the first time since 2008 that Tennessee's men's and women's squads had posted top 10 finishes at the same NCAA Indoor Championships.
Christian Coleman earned three First Team All-American honors after winning the men's 200 meters (20.55), taking second in the 60 meters (6.52) and placing fifth with UT's men's 4x400 relay (3:31.
