Top-100 offensive tackle and Ole Miss Rebels commit Drew Richmond announced on his Twitter account Friday night that he has arrived for a weekend official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Here's 247 Sports' Ryan Callahan with the early report on Richmond's time in Knoxville:
A couple of Tennessee's early enrollees from the 2015 class — defensive end Kyle Phillips and linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. — wasted no time posting pictures on their Twitter accounts that showed Richmond enjoying himself during the first hours of his visit.
Kirkland posted a picture that showed Richmond posing with Phillips, Kirkland and Vols coach Butch Jones, with all four of them flashing "V-O-L" hand signs. Phillips later posted an image of Richmond posing in front of the famous "Rock" on Tennessee's campus, which was painted with a list of the Vols' weekend visitors, including Richmond.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound four-star recruit has been committed to Ole Miss since September, but has decided to give the Vols one last look before Wednesday's National Signing Day.
Stay tuned.
