As the Tennessee football coaching search continues to drag on, several new names have appeared along the rumor mill for the Volunteers. The newest and quite possibly the most intriguing name added to this long list is UNC's head coach Larry Fedora.
Fedora just finished his first season with the Tar Heel program and went 8-4 in what would appear to be one of the easier schedule in the country. UNC somehow did not have to play the two toughest teams in their conference, Clemson and Florida State and still ended up a four loss team.

The Volunteers would love to add Fedora because he is a very well respected coach and has found great offensive success both at UNC and at his previous coaching gig at Southern Mississippi. This would be a great move for Fedora if he wants to advance to advance his career quickly and coach in the best conference in the country. But do not expect Fedora to leave UNC after one year unless he really feels that this is his dream job.
While Fedora has been very quiet about being involved in talks with the Volunteer program, sources have confirmed that he is very interested in what the Vols have to say.
