NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Dick LeBeau kept his promise. The Tennessee Titans defense had something to prove. Although their work was wasted in a 16-10 loss against the Dolphins, it turned in its best performance of the season.
It was a noticeably faster and more confident bunch. It attacked instead of retreated. Communication was flowing presnap at all three levels of the defense. Most importantly, it responded after a disaster the week before. The defense played well enough to win last Sunday, but the offense didn't hold up its end.
So is the Titans' defense closer to the squad that got torched for half a hundred points by Deshaun Watson and the Texans in Week 5?
