Treylon Burks might be headed to injured reserve

Treylon Burks hurt his knee in practice this week. Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said today that Burks might be headed to injured reserve. We might have seen the last of Burks in a Titans’ uniform.

Jon Robinson made a lot of mistakes, but his biggest mistake was thinking on draft night that he could replace the production of A.J. Brown with Treylon Burks. Brown has gone on to have two 1,400 yard seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles while Burks’s best season was his rookie year when he had 444 yards.

The Titans have drafted one star receiver in the 25 years they have been in Tennessee, and they traded him away before he played out his rookie contract.
