Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…
“The second round hasn’t been particularly fruitful for the Titans over the past decade,” writes John Glennon of The Tennessean. You have to go back to 2005 and left tackle Michael Roos to find “a consistent, high-quality, long-term producer.”
To which I say: Imagine if running back Bishop Sankey, wide receiver Justin Hunter and linebacker Zach Brown were all “plus” players. They could collectively be making a huge difference. Instead, Sankey was a healthy scratch Thursday night, Hunter (before he was hurt) couldn’t stop himself from jumping unnecessarily for passes, and Brown lost his starting role.
