The Titans announced this afternoon that they’ve agreed to terms with wide receiver Cameron Batson on a one year extension.
Like Anthony Firkser, Batson was an exclusive rights free agent (ERFA) which essentially means that he was left with no choice but to sign the one year minimum salary contract that the team likely offered him. In actuality, ERFAs aren't really “free” at all. Batson is likely going to carry a cap hit of around $700,000 for the 2020 season.
Batson was a surprise inclusion on the team’s initial 53-man roster in 2018 as an undrafted rookie out of Texas Tech.
