The Tennessee Titans have bolstered their depth on the edge ahead of training camp this afternoon, signing veteran pass rusher John Simon. The team confirmed and announced the news on Sunday.
The Titans also waived outside linebacker Tuzar Skipper.
Simon has played with the Ravens, Colts, Patriots and Texans in his eight year career. He now joins the Titans, who just placed big-ticket free agent signing Bud Dupree on the PUP list. Dupree signed a five year deal with the team this year, worth $85 million. Dupree has been working to rehab his surgically repaired knee since signing with the Titans.
