The Titans have made a roster move today, adding to their quarterback room. Veteran passer Matt Barkley announced his own deal with the team on Thursday.
The backup quarterback position is an obvious point of weakness on this roster. Before the addition of Barkley, it was Logan Woodside and DeShone Kizer battling it out for the No. 2 job behind Ryan Tannehill. Barkley now adds another arm to that competition, one with considerably more experience.
Barkley was a fourth round pick back in 2013, falling to the Eagles. He played two seasons in Philadelphia before moving on to spend one season in Chicago.
