After seven games of dreadful defense, the Tennessee Titans are finally making some drastic moves. The Titans traded for slot corner Desmond King on Monday after getting torched by rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, but that was just the first shoe to drop.
Today, they’ve announced the release of veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph, a move that follows the addition of King. They also announced plans to release pass rusher Vic Beasley, who signed a one-year, fully guaranteed 9.5 million dollar deal this offseason.
Beasley failed to report to camp on time, and then failed to make an impact on the field in just a handful of games for the Titans.
