I have no idea what I just watched. After the toss play where the Tennessee Titans turned the ball over when Will Levis pitched the ball behind Derrick Henry, I started to write a story with the headline “Titans snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in 4th quarter meltdown.” Then the improbable happened. Levis led the Titans on two touchdown drives in the final 4:34 of the game and the defense got two huge stops to help out. In fact, the defense played fantastic all night - even without Jeffery Simmons.
Levis finished the night with 327 yards and the offensive line was able to hold up late in the game even in obvious passing situations.
