I’ve seen some Tennessee Titans fans discuss the lack of a clear-cut backup center on the roster. Prized free-agent addition Lloyd Cushenberry, who signed a four-year contract worth $50 million, projects as a massive upgrade from last year’s starter Aaron Brewer. Cushenberry is obviously a plug-and-play center, but who’s going to back him up?
Last year’s backup was Corey Levin. Levin played just nine total offensive snaps on a one-year contract, but he did play 230 snaps in 2022 as an injury fill-in replacement for Ben Jones. Titans general manager Ran Carthon re-signed Levin last offseason, but with a new coaching staff present, the Titans haven’t shown interest in re-upping Levin this summer.
