The Tennessee Titans went through major changes at the linebacker position this offseason. Team captain Azeez Al-Shaair placed fifth in the entire league with a team-high 163 tackles. Al-Shaair signed with the AFC South rival Houston Texans in unrestricted free agency.
General manager Ran Carthon responded by signing former first-round pick Kenneth Murray as his replacement. Murray was probably the least-popular move made by Carthon this offseason. He’s routinely failed to meet expectations as a top-32 selection. In 2023, Pro Football Focus assigned him a lackluster overall grade of 52.
