The most notable coach in Tennessee Titans history has been announced as a 2020 Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame inductee. Former Titans head coach, Jeff Fisher, will be honored among other inductees, such as Tony Delk, Bettye Giles, Dick Horton, and Carl Torbush.
Per Jim Wyatt of Titansonline.com, Fisher was alerted in “mid-air” during an appearance on the Midday 180 on Friday.
As a player, Fisher played four seasons for the Chicago Bears as a defensive back and punt-return specialist. Following the 1984 season, Fisher segued into coaching.
His career began as defensive backs coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1986.
