Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan is tasked with helping sophomore quarterback Will Levis make better decisions this season. It’s no secret that Levis was overly aggressive at times throughout his rookie campaign. The 24-year-old quarterback had a turnover-worthy throw-rate of 4.5 percent according to Pro Football Focus’ charting, which was third-most in the league among all qualifying players. He also averaged a league-high 11.1-yard average depth of target (ADOT), which indicates he fell in love with the deep ball.
Callahan is installing a QB-friendly system that will prioritize rhythm-and-timing. Adding Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to the offense will also allow Levis to target receivers that create better separation than the group of non-Deandre Hopkins misfits did last season.
