The Tennessee Titans had a special visitor at training camp on Monday.
James Shaw Jr., the hero from the shooting at a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee, in April was on hand to watch the team practice. Shaw disarmed the gunman, who had an AR-15 rifle.
Shaw will speak to the players during a team meeting on Monday night.
Head coach Mike Vrabel met Shaw after practice.
"We wanted to meet him and recognize him," Vrabel said. "Things were so sensitive when it first happened. I had a chance to reflect on it over the summer.
