Good news from Tennessee Titans training camp today: Titans DC Dennard Wilson said he has “no doubt” that cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie will be ready for week 1 against the Chicago Bears. Sneed has been held out of the preseason because of a knee issue that requires some maintenance. Awuzie suffered a calf injury early in camp.
The Titans invested over $100 million in these two guys this offseason. They are obviously a key part of what Wilson is planning on doing with his defense. We always knew there would be some maintenance with Sneed.
