NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The 7-6 Tennessee Titans are a good rushing team that finds big plays in the passing game and is very good on third down.
But the team’s most impressive stat might just be its coin toss record.
In the start-of-game ritual that is likely to even out in the long run, the Titans are 10-3 this season.
On the road, when they call heads or tails, they’ve been right six times in seven chances. Opponents visiting Nissan Stadium have regularly been wrong, going 2-4.
"Coach always alludes to that during the week," said Wesley Woodyard, a special teams captain who thinks he’s only made the call once.
