Dan Pompei wrote a really good article today about Derrick Henry. There are a lot of cool details in there about Henry, how much he loves football, and the lengths he goes to in order to keep his body in shape (spending about $240,000 a year to do so!). It is going to suck watching The King play for the Baltimore Ravens this season.
One of the more interesting details in the story was confirmation of a widely reported rumor from last year’s NFL trade deadline - Ran Carthon had a deal in place to send Henry to the Ravens but “others in the Titans hierarchy apparently were not on board with the deal, so Henry played out the season in Nashville.
