Our free agent spotlight to this point has been on top tier, big money free agents. Is that the only way that the Titans will upgrade their roster prior to the draft? No. That’s been the focal point because last offseason the Titans focused their attention on the mid range free agent market – They needed as many solid contributors as possible. That group of players served their purpose and raised Tennessee to a respectable level – Dropping them down the depth chart will help propel the Titans forward. The goal this offseason needs to be about finding more playmaking starters to promote depth from the top down.
