DeMarco Murray had a stellar 2016 season. Despite all the acclaim he receives running the ball, it was his receiving game that really turned heads. Is he the best receiving running back in franchise history? If not Murray, who?
My mind has been processing this question for several days – The only other name, besides Murray, that continues to surface…Butch Woolfolk. Don’t get me wrong, the Titans have had their share of running backs that have caught a lot of balls out of the backfield. The only two that consistently made plays in the passing game, on a variety of routes and with the ease of the best receivers in the NFL were Murray and Woolfolk – With the ball in the air, these two provide(d) ultimate confidence in a positive play for the Titans.
